We're jabbed

We've left it for as long as possible in the hope the surgery would find our Yellow Fever records of yester-year, but alas no, so jab day was today. So far so good, though the plan is to stay hunkered down for the next couple of days and not push it.

Here's the itinerary

It's a long old trip - 65 nights - but it visits many locations and you can see the full list below.  We leave on 6 January 2023 from Southampton and return there on 12 March 2023.
Check out the video to see how we get there.

It's my fault.

Yes, I threw the old Yellow Fever certificates away. In my defence, it said they were valid for 10 years and they were fast approaching 20. A further comment in my defence, it was also way before we decided to book this adventure.

With much less than a month to go before we board Aurora, we're already getting excited and trying to consider everything we'll need for 65 days away from home. You can't pack 65 pairs of undies and socks, but you can be ready to use on board laundry facilities by taking your own detergent. Equally, you do have to pack a range of clothes to accommodate everything from snow in Southampton to Equatorial heat and humidity, as well as yomping across the Falklands, pursued by penguins.

Where is Aurora now?
